Wolsey Road sits within the leafy East London neighbourhood of Newington Green, occupying a quiet position within its distinctive Victorian streetscape. Set within a traditional terraced home, this project centres on the creation of a double home office — a calm and considered space designed to support both focus and reflection. The approach responds sensitively to the existing architecture, introducing contemporary interventions that feel measured and sympathetic to the character of the house.
Bespoke Crittall doors bring a refined architectural rhythm to the space, allowing light to travel between rooms while creating a subtle sense of separation, and oak alcove joinery introduces warmth and tactility. Together, these elements create an atmosphere that feels calm and pensive — a thoughtful working environment that balances the practical demands of a double home office with the enduring character of its Victorian setting.
